Well, I know damn well that I’m not the only redneck on the internet, but I’m the only one in this room. And I seem to be way over my head with this self-publishing thing. I got attracted to all of the shiny bells and whistles without realizing that I’d have to learn a whole ‘nother freakin’ language. Sheit, they didn’t teach us this in English for Ag Majors 101.
The basics are the same. I’m still a mom to two boys and a dog, still single and struggling through the dating world. Man, I hate dating. I mean, I like men, and even the worst dates make some good journal fodder, but this is getting sort of exhausting. I’ve gone on bad internet dates (and the occasional good one,) I’ve gone out with friends of friends, I dated a guy I met at a funeral, and I’ve waded in the company pool. And here I am, still looking. Fun, huh?
When I’m not interviewing men one way or another, I’ve got a lot of stuff to keep me busy. Besides the day job, I own a small business that’s mostly active in the summer. Right when I want time to go play, of course, but it’s also where the play money comes from. I’m into rodeo, although lately I’ve been demoted to sidelines spectator. I fart around with a little photography. I take the kids camping in the summer, and sometimes I go without them. I hunt a lot in the fall – mostly deer and bear, although I optimistically buy an upland game bird stamp every year and then don’t take the shotgun with me. I really want to do more fishing. I like fish.
There, that’ll do for now.

Nice to find a computer literate Cowgirl-Hunter. Another quality of the Western Woman that I admire so much. I’ll be adding you to my blogroll.
